What We Do…

The NMCADV coordinates local and national responses to domestic violence. We work closely with the New Mexico state legislature to enact policies, processes, protocol and laws that will positively impact our communities.

Please feel free to contact us during our normal business hours (M-F, 8:30am-4:30pm) at our main number, (505) 246-9240 to be directed to the appropriate staff member.

If you would like to speak with an advocate or need help for victim services, please call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE(7233) or TTY 1-800-787-3224, or contact your nearest shelter.

If this is an emergency, as always, please call 911.

OUR PROGRAMS WORK!

How Do We Know That Our Work Results in Reduced Violence for Survivors and Their Children?

Our programs work. How do we know? Research has shown that when domestic violence advocates do their jobs well, clients experience greater hope and self-efficacy. Additionally, violence is reduced for survivors and their children and social emotional well-being is increased. Download our Program Effectiveness chart and learn more about why our programs have such a positive impact.

FEATURED PROJECTS

Coalition staff work on various projects in order to expand knowledge, experience, and better victim/survivor services throughout the state. Below you will find a list projects past and present.
